A lover of natural hair, photography, African fashion and I'm a writer. These are random thoughts or pieces I've written. I try not to reblog too much, unless it's super intriguing.

i’m just going to leave this here.
because it’s pretty much the most gangster shit i’ve ever seen in my entire life.
(photo not credited—or, um, credited as “amazon indian mother breastfeeding child,” which, you know, not super helpful—found on the beautiful breastfeeding facebook page, which is worth a peek if you’re into that sort of thing.)
Comment:
mynaturalpregnancy said: i bet no people give her shit for feeding her kid in public! This is a Kayapó mother and child from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest and while she might not get shit for breast-feeding in public, her entire people is being forcibly evicted from their ancestral homelands in order to make way for the massive Belo Monte Dam, which will make thousands of indigenous Brazilians homeless while simultaneously destroying a large part of what is commonly referred to as the lungs of the world.
In other words, western moral codes aren’t currently this mother’s biggest concern.
